How do we apply a Eco-Friendly Lifestyle in Our Life - ICT Formative (Second Week)

This week, we are reviewing and exploring last week's lesson. We reiterate how the theme "We care, we grow" will change the current situation in the international world. We learn about ways (Practices) to apply eco-friendly life in our respective lives related to school materials.


Social Studies

-How the Economy System Works in Daily Life-

In social studies lessons, we learn again about market segmentation along with the characteristics of existing consumers. However, for this meeting, we focused on material on Prices, Markets and the Creative Economy. From this material, I learned how the economic system works, its relationships and so on. This creative economy will have the potential to be used as an eco-friendly action or activity. We are asked to think of a product that is included as a result of the creative economy.


Definition:
  • Price: The exchange rate of an item expressed in money.
  • Market: The process of transactions of supply and demand for goods and services.
  • Creative Economy: how a party or a person sells a product in a creative way.


ICT

-Important things to consider when creating a blog-

In ICT lessons, we learned things that are very important to pay attention to in creating and writing a blog. these things are broadly divided in two. We learned how we must pay attention to the stages in creating a blog, and how our techniques are to develop our skills in creating a blog. These two things will help us in making the summative (Exam) UOI, especially in terms of regularity, tidiness and usability in my blog.


Phases (Stage):
  1. Plan: Planning for the content, structure and resources on the blog.
  2. Write: Writing a blog in accordance with the plan that has been made.
  3. Reviews: Reviews regarding what is lacking and what needs to be added before uploading.
  4. Publish: Upload blog results and are advised to ask for opinions from readers so that they can make this as an improvement.
Technique (blog creation technique):
  1. Using Headings and Sub-Headings
  2. Using align left
  3. Using standard fonts
  4. Using bullets / numbering in bullet points
  5. Use 4 to 5 words in one paragraph
  6. Use pictures or videos as evidence
  7. Use an explanatory caption under the image / video
  8. No copy-pasting
  9. Attach the source below the paragraph

PE

-Flood disaster prevention and rescue techniques-

In PE lesson, we learned again how we have to take care of our environment, especially in the case of floods. At this time, we are focused on how we can prevent and carry out the rescue process in a flood disaster. From this subject, we learned that every cause of flooding (exp: garbage) can be handled creatively. Apart from that, in saving ourselves from flooding, we are made aware that cooperation between the community will be needed. that way, the problem will be resolved quickly.



English

-Prevention of environmental pollution due to garbage-

In English lesson, we learned again about the impacts of plastic waste in our daily lives. From the impacts and the risks, we learned how to prevent them. For this time, our teacher uses an article from the website to serve as a source of subject. We are given several ways to be eco-friendly, but we are asked to have an opinion about agreeing or disagreeing with these ways.

BS

-Safeguarding God's creation as our sense of responsibility-

In BS lessons, we learn again about the creation by God. This will lead us to see how we have contaminated God's creation which was previously perfect. We were asked several questions and we have answered by analyzing human life to date.
  1. What is the purpose of God to create the universe and humans?
    God created the universe and man for the purpose of earth's creation and so that humans could protect the earth and God had filled the horizon and life
  2. Why did God create the universe and man in stages?
    Because for humans to live in it and humans are the image and image of God.
  3. What is the quality of God's work based on this reading?
    Based on the quality of His work, God shows its quality with the earth and all living things that He creates are so good and beautiful with various stages that make what He creates good and perfect.
  4. How does God maintain the quality of his work?
    God created man to rule over the entire earth. We know that God's creation is all perfect. But human beings who have sinned contaminate God's creation. So God sent Jesus to restore His tainted creation to perfection.

Art

-The Process of Making Mosaic Artworks from Waste Waterials-

In the Art lesson, we re-learn how we can use waste materials into creative works. In connection with social studies lessons, our work will serve as an example of the creative economy. We are going to create a Mosaic and Collage artwork. That way, we have undertaken one of the eco-friendly activities that save the world.

     UOI is one of the methods used by teachers to carry out online learning activities effectively with students. For me, this UOI has become a good technique in carrying out a learning activity.
